“Sustainability is in the center of our mission”

Here in Ideateks, our primary aim is to protect nature and environment for the next generations and to use sustainable sources that do not harm the environment. In this context, our company has the Organic Content Standard (OCS), Recycle Content Standard (RCS) certificates and also became a BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) member. We are proud to be a member of Better Cotton Initiative, a volunteer program, that helps millions of farmers in every corner of the world to produce cotton in healthier conditions.

Our company established an ecological supply chain bu ensuring all sub-contractors adopt these certificates and produce organic cotton, recycled cotton and forbid the use of conventional cotton in the production. We adopt all principles of sustainable production by cooperating with our customers and our supply chain to global cotton production. The viscose fiber we use in our fabric is supplied from the viscose producers which has Green Button labels. By doing that, we forbid the use of conventional viscose and contribute to not damaging the forests. Besides “Green Shirt” labelled viscose fibers, we use Ecovero, Tencel, Refibra types sustainable fibers and so environmental awareness is being created. All chemicals, dyes, prints on our fabrics are continuously being tested. The dying factories that work with us test their waste water and publish their test result on ZDHC Gateway Portal and help us construct a transparent supply chain.

Ideateks is also a member of HIGG INDEX which is an apparel industry self-assesment standard to rate environmental and social sustainability throughout the supply chain.

We focus on sustainable product design, and support the use of sustainable materials in all our production processes.

For the last 2 years, we have been using recycled and recyclable packaging, and our labeling and main materials in almost all our samples in production are sustainable. In addition to this, we had a significant investment in 2021 in our garment dying factory (www.pantexboya.com) specifically designed for water saving.

Ideateks is committed to achieving sustainability milestones by the year 2025 in two key environmental areas – fibers and greenhouse gases. Ideateks products will be produced using at least 90 % sustainably sourced fiber.
